ZeeZone Aims to Make Holiday Extra Special for the Children of The Boys and Girls Club of Broward County
This Holiday Season, CEO Bill Reicherter aims to set a record for the most gifts donated to the Boys and Girls Club from one drive ever. Reicherter comments that, “it is our responsibility to give back to our community. No matter how bad you think you have it, there is always someone out there that has it worse, so give and give with generosity this season. As our economy has been hit with one of the hardest economic situations since the Great Depression, this year more than ever it is important for community to come together as one and help out the deserving children of the boys and girls club. As I look back on significant recent events in this Great Country, I seem to recall all over the news back in 2001, Democrats and Republicans arm in arm singing the National Anthem on Capitol Hill with tears in their eyes…American Flags and stickers were on just about everyone’s car and buildings of worship were bulging at the doors with new found believers in their God. But in typical American style over the years we got complacent, things went back to status quo and now, yet again, we are faced with one of the biggest financial challenges this country has ever experienced. So I ask all of you that are fortunate enough to read this blog, to help out the less fortunate this year and remember where we were, where we are now and where we are going to be. And make this Holiday Season an December to Remember in the lives of our Deserving Children”, states Reicherter. For more information on the ZeeZone Event, go to www.zeezone.org

The Pyramid Of Success (Enthusiasm)Inspired by John R. Wooden
As a business leader or manager, you are expected to lead by example and enthusiasm to produce the most effective results for your clients and team. Enthusiasm exudes confidence and rubs off on your team in ways that can’t be measured. However on the otherside, over enthusiasm can be considered counterproductive due to the high / low level of emotion. If not channeled right and consistent in the message, it can be draining on your team. Regardless of the task, leaders who expect those under their supervison to work near their respective levels of competency must be consistent in their enthusiasm and enjoy the task at hand. Extreme Highs and Lows don’t work. Enthusiasm most be dispatched in moderation, Highs lead to lows and lows lead to unproductive results. Quite Enthusiasm leads to results!!! We are all more productive and produce high results when we do what we love with enthusiasm.
NEVER BE LAZY IN YOUR WORK….OR YOUR WORK WILL GIVE YOU LAZY RESULTS!!

Pyramid of Success Industriousness (Hardwork and Planning)
One of the Building Blocks or cornerstones of the pyramid is Industriousness. In order to achieve in life, it is important that we all work hard to get there. As a young one, you are raised to work hard and get results. But what does work hard mean and how do we define it. Is it work hard long hours with no aim or is it planned with direction. In the book Mr. Wooden tells how important it is to work hard everyday. He also states that taking shortcuts is a direct way of failure. To give and example of Mr. Woodens scheduling, he believed that there were no short cuts in life. Short cuts in life and work are defined by Wooden as the easiest way to complete a task with minimum effort. When one works like this diaster is in the making, imagine everyone in your life both business and personal waking up everyday just to get home and back to bed. I know some of you are thinking of a few people you know, I sure am.
Ok, back to the story. In Practice Coach Wooden would define the practice down to the minute because he believed that a time schedule was important to the success of his team and staff. Practices were 1.5 – 2.0 hours and that was it. He believed that if people know exactly how the schedule is clearly outlined they will be highly productive in the output of work. It’s when people have no structure that the day lingers on and goes past 5:00 and people are struggling to get half of what they needed to done. This was accomplished by proper pre-planning of the practice. Every movement was planned, every drill and placement of the balls for the drill. Every minute of the practice had a purpose thus giving a highly productive performance. This holds true in life. We all know people who come to work early, hang out and complain when it comes time for a review or raise that they were there everyday before anyone else but never seem to be done with there work. Then there are those who work half the time and seem to get it all done and more. Pre-planning is a very important piece to the work hard theory. You can’t just work hard with no plan but combine the two and you will increase you productivity, bank account and personal time.
The most important thing to walk away with in this series is that there is no short cuts to succeed and you need to work from a plan and work precise. Time wasted is money wasted which both are something we don’t get back.
www.zeezone.org is geared to help you succeed in life. Both in the business and personal aspects. I encourage you to take the challenges that zeezone will give you and run with them. We are a company that thrives on building your company.
Good Morning All,Have any of you ever heard of the Head Basketball coach for UCLA back in the day named John R. Wooden. I hope the answer is YES. Well I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Mr. Wooden’s pyramid of success by a mentor of mine, on a trip to England. Ray handed me this book, like he always did because he was a big believer in educating yourself and it changed my life, through my thought processes toward business and personal. Actually this was just one of the books he handed out that had a direct impact on me, another you may have heard of, who moved my cheese. Anyway, my passion in life has turned with age to helping the small business owners, franchisees and franchisors to develop themselves and business strategies to incorporate success for all involved hence the ZeeZone. for the next several months I will be blogging on the the Pyramid of success and I would love your feedback and opinions. There are examples of everyday life in this book related to sports and spirituality that make all the sense in the world and if followed will change your life in many ways. In the opening of the book, there is a quote the goes like this, “Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become your best that you are capable of becoming” The first Blog I will be submitting is Industriousness (hardwork) As it states in the book, “there is no substitute for work. Worthwhile results come from hard work and careful planning”. Stay tuned for the pyramid of success. |
